Hosting 120 thousand buyers from 120 countries
Drawing attention to the importance of the exhibition industry at the opening of EVTEKS hosting 120 thousand professional buyers of whom 50 thousand were international coming from 120 countries, CNG Holding CEO Ali Bulut, continued with the following words: "We can transform Istanbul into a new world exhibition center within 5 years by using the right strategy and resources in the right places. We can bring the power of the exhibition industry back home which has been a source of prosperity for the European cities that host the market of these goods that they do not produce. We can be among the playmakers and one of the biggest shareholders by taking our trade fair organization experience accumulated in our country into new markets such as to developing Africa. Germany, France, Italy, England, and even Spain are successful examples in the exhibition industry. Thousands of Turkish companies participate in the trade fairs organized in these countries every year. Our government transfers significant resources from the budget to support these companies. If we invest in the development of the exhibition industry in our country as well, we can take our place among the countries I mentioned above and increase our competitiveness against the European countries."
The export price per kilogram is above the industry average in Turkey

We are far beyond this figure as the sector. Today our export kilogram price has reached $14-15. In our previous exhibitions, our trend was set by trend markers from countries such as Holland, France, and Germany. However, this year, trends are set by Turkish designers. Emphasizing that the way to get rid of personal troubles and chaos in the new era is alternatives in design, Bahar Korçan and her team set the trend of the exhibition and for 2020 in the world under the concept of ”Alternative Existences." You can see the reflections from trend to fashion and design, from design to products in our exhibition stands. Trend Area offers you a broad perspective."
