AFTER EVTEKS 2011
Marked as one of the top destinations and attracting a high profile of
importers from all over the world, EVTEKS took place with the support of TETSIAD
on May 18-22, 2011 to create the most effective business platform for the
industry!
The high quality product portfolio, the diversity of the products & prices, the
international exhibitor profile raised the success of EVTEKS and the fair
attracts the attentions of purchasers and professionals from all over the world
every year. EVTEKS has a new record of visitor numbers with the effective
national & foreign promotion applications.
EVTEKS welcomed 31.110 foreign visitors from 94 countries. 500 national &
foreign media representatives participated the fair. And, with the support of
the Undersecretariat of Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade, a special delegation
including buyers and press members of well known magazines from 62 selected
countries was organized once again.Important companies gave orders during the
fair. Some of these companies were Galeries La Fayette (France), Zara Home ve El
Corte Ingles (Spain), La Rosa Home Collection ve Daniel Hechter Home (Germany),
Style Trade (Finland), Manor (Sweden), Iran Merinos (Iran), Decostar S.A. ve
Roditi Maria (Greece), ADM Baches ve Boelaert - Moens BVBA (Belgium), Stefan
Zweig (Austria), Kotex (Bulgaria), Modern (Egypt), Gazzaz, La Maison Simons Inc,
Al Moussawi Trading Co. (Saudi Arabia).
2012 TRENDS WERE SET AT EVTEKS 2011Within the 'Kaleidoscope' concept, Trend Zone was organized by UTIB (Uludag
Textile Exporters' Union) and created by Inkrit Berbee. It was launched on a
area of 600 sqm. Trend zone to showcase the level where the Turkish home textile
sector has come to the sector people and buyers coming from all over the world.
Besides 2012 trends, for the first time this year contract textiles were
displayed in the Trend zone. And again, for the first time this year, Home
Textile Design Contest was arranged to introduce special designs to set fashion
and trend in international markets.
Trend Seminars, which were held for the 4th time, hosted globally known
designers. Along with Karim Rashid, famous designers as Defne Koz, Mark Schmitt,
Jennifer Castoldi, participated the seminars to explain 2012 home textile trends
to the audiences. |
